PDR started as a side project to keep track of all the useful design resources and as a challenge to keep up with new resources floating in each week.

Why resources?
As a young child I started out with what would later become my profession when I was designing invitations for my birthday using an early version of drawing tool Paint on an Atari ST. With a little help from my father, I took the birthday invitation game in school to a whole new level.

Later as a young professional, I was the one introducing Sketch and Zeplin to the big agency I worked for when most designers in the industry were still using Photoshop. With a little help from my creative director, I influenced the workflows of almost every employee and thus increased the efficiency of the entire company.

Ultimately, that's the power of design resources: supercharging workflows to gain more time for creativity and, of course, to reach the next level ;)

Why Product Design?
Product designers today often have a quite wide skillset, including skills like user research, UX design, visual design, motion design, and prototyping. With these designers in mind and because I'm actually one of them myself, I aim to carefully curate just the right mix of resources to keep designers updated & inspired so they can reach the next level.
